Call Center Customer Service Agent
We are hiring a Call Center Customer Service Agent to provide outstanding customer service by supporting individuals and families in accessing essential benefits and resources. This role involves client intake, assisting with applications, and maintaining accurate records in an online client management system.. Starting pay rate of $15/hr, Monday–Friday schedule.
Responsibilities

Conduct client intake interviews by phone and occasionally in person, providing friendly and professional customer support.

Assist clients with applications for programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, taxes, and voter registration, ensuring a positive customer experience.

Enter, track, and manage client data accurately in an online system.

Maintain confidentiality while delivering courteous and respectful service.

Collaborate with team members and partners to achieve organizational goals.

Participate in trainings and assist with special projects as needed.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.

Six (6) months of call center, customer service, or client-facing experience.

Excellent communication, active listening, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multi-line phones and high call volumes.

Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly.

Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Preferred Skills

Experience in nonprofit organizations and/or bilingual abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.

Passion for delivering high-quality customer service and building positive relationships.
