CNC Machinist – Weekend Night Shift
Recruiting Solutions is seeking CNC Machine Operator for a direct hire opportunity with an established manufacturer in Greenville, SC! This is a Weekend Night Shift position that includes the opportunity to work on advanced 6-axis turning CNC equipment with a small crew of about 5 people.
This position offers a competitive pay rate of $27.45/h to start, plus a $0.50/hr increase after training and a $2.00/hr shift differential. This position would begin with training on 1st shift for approximately 6 to 8 weeks and then transition to a Friday to Sunday 6PM to 6AM schedule (work for 36 hour, paid for 40). CNC Machine Operator Job Responsibilities:
- Operate a 6-axis CNC turning machine to manufacture precision components.
- Set up machines, perform tooling changes, and complete touch-offs.
- Interpret blueprints and use precision measuring equipment to ensure product accuracy.
- Conduct in-process inspections and make necessary machine adjustments.
- Maintain machine fluids, load bar stock, and perform changeovers as needed.
- Follow safety protocols, quality standards, and standard operating procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
CNC Machine Operator Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior CNC machining experience (multi-axis preferred).
- Ability to read blueprints and operate measurement tools.
- Experience with Fanuc or Siemens controls a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for extended periods.
