CNC Machinist
Recruiting Solutions is seeking a CNC Machinist for a Direct Hire opportunity on 2nd shift with a manufacturer in Greer, South Carolina! CNC Machinist Job Responsibilities:
- Program, set up, and operate multi-spindle bar-fed mill-turn CNC lathes
- Load existing programs or write/edit M & G code to meet part specifications
- Perform dry runs in single block mode to validate program accuracy
- Produce first article inspections and document measurements per ISO requirements
- Ensure all parts meet quality specifications using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision instruments
- Perform routine maintenance checks and ensure all oils, lubricants, and coolant levels are properly maintained
- Run warm-up programs and communicate any mechanical issues to maintenance
- Collaborate with the manufacturing team and report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor
CNC Machinist Requirements and Qualifications:
- Associates Degree in Machine Tool Technology or 3 years of experience programming and operating CNC lathes in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with M & G codes and Fanuc controls
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control practices
- Experience with ISO documentation and quality standards
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow
