Recruiting Solutions has multiple openings for MIG WELDERS with a reputable client within the Hartsville, SC area! Responsibilities of the MIG Welder include being able to work on a production line to meet production goals, knowledge of MIG/GMAW welding techniques, and being able to work in a fast paced environment. Openings are on 1st and 2nd shift with a starting pay of $18.00/hr.

Responsibilities of the MIG Welder:

Operate automatic welding units by joining two pieces of material using resistance welding techniques;
Responsible for operating robotic welding equipment and various machines for production needs
Tac weld parts together before final assembly
Test welds with air and water to ensure no leaks are present
Obtain parts and materials needed to complete tasks;
Provide direction, training and/or guidance to new employees as required;
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and organized condition and follow prescribed safety rules, quality requirements;
Wear required PPE (steel-toed boots, safety glasses, ear plugs, and any additional PPE required for task being performed);
Perform other duties and operate machinery as assigned by Supervisor/Team Leader.

Requirements for the MIG Welder:

High School Diploma
Welding Certificate or 40 credited hours completed
1-2 years of manufacturing experience
