What you’ll do:

  • Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while updating appropriate leadership on project status

Role Overview
The Team Lead – Data Analytics will oversee and guide a team of Data Analysts, including Data 
Analyst I, II, and Senior SQL Analysts. This leadership position is responsible for managing the 
team’s delivery of advanced SQL development, ETL design and maintenance, and data quality assurance 
to support business intelligence and strategic decision-making. The role combines technical 
expertise with team management, mentoring, and collaboration across departments to drive 
data-driven outcomes.

Essential Functions

•  Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts, providing guidance on advanced SQL 
development, ETL processes, and best practices for data analysis.
•  Coordinate and review complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL workflows developed by 
team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
•  Design and implement scalable ETL solutions in collaboration with data engineers and IT teams, 
maintaining high standards of data accuracy and system performance.
•  Facilitate cross-functional communication with business analysts, data engineers, and 
stakeholders to align data requirements and analytics objectives.
•  Oversee troubleshooting of ETL and SQL-related issues, ensuring rapid resolution to minimize 
impact on data availability and reporting.
•  Establish and enforce team coding standards, documentation practices, and development 
methodologies.
•  Promote continuous learning by encouraging adoption of emerging data technologies, SQL 
advancements, and cloud data services such as Microsoft Azure.
•  Manage project priorities, resource allocation, and timelines within an Agile or Scrum framework 
to meet business goals effectively.
•  Contribute to strategic planning for data infrastructure improvements and analytics 
capabilities.
•  Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications
•  Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field, or 
equivalent experience.
•  Minimum of 7 years of experience in SQL development, data analysis, and ETL process design and 
management.
•  Proven leadership experience, mentoring and managing technical teams of data 
professionals.
•  Expertise in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database 
functions.
•  Extensive experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Talend and managing ETL 
workflows.
•  Proficiency with relational database management systems (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, 
MySQL).
•  Experience working with Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Data 
Factory, and Azure Data Lake.
•  Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
•  Understanding of data warehousing principles and dimensional modeling.
•  Exposure to cloud environments beyond Azure, such as AWS or Snowflake.
•  Familiarity with scripting languages like Python or PowerShell.
•  Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
•  Experience managing projects within Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Virtual BOA is seeking a Senior Developer to take on Azure DevOps responsibilities, including designing, implementing, and managing our cloud-based infrastructure.
Virtual BOA provides revenue cycle management solutions for our healthcare clients nationwide, and they have ranked us #1 “Best in KLAS” for Extended Business Office Services for 6 consecutive years now.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and exposure to cloud services, automation, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes. In this role, you will primarily focus on software development, dedicating approximately 35% of your efforts to cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with other developers, as well as QA and operations teams, to streamline our development workflows.

Key Responsibilities:
All tasks related to this position are to be done in a manner consistent with RCMS policies, procedures, quality standards, customer needs and applicable local, state and federal regulations. 

  • Develop, implement, and troubleshoot web-based solutions to ensure accurate functioning of the applications
  • Ability to troubleshoot, modify, repair, and update existing programs as well as develop new solutions
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and infrastructure changes.
  • Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
  • Manages Protected Health Information (PHI) daily without compromising security and integrity of data
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure best practices for software development and deployment.
  • Participates in educational programs to stay abreast of industry trends and changes in technology
