Tool and Die Maker
Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker for a direct hire opportunity with a well-established manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC. This is a 1st shift, Monday to Thursday position offering a competitive pay range of $28.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience and a full suite of benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, and Flexible Spending Account. The Tool and Die Maker will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving progressive and single-hit stamping dies to support production efficiency and precision standards.

Tool and Die Maker Job Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate toolroom equipment, including lathes, grinders, and mills
- Disassemble, repair, and reassemble progressive and single-hit stamping dies
- Precisely fit, align, and assemble components to meet tight dimensional tolerances
- Perform surface grinding and polishing on flat and contoured parts
- Troubleshoot dies and implement modifications to improve performance
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design or material issues
- Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and modifications
- Provide support and mentorship to apprentices as needed
Tool and Die Maker Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a metal stamping tool and die environment
- Experience with progressive dies strongly preferred
- Journeyman Tool & Die Maker certification is a plus
- Must have own measuring tools and hand tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and blueprint reading ability
- Capable of lifting up to 35 lbs and operating lift equipment (training provided)
