Retail Associate
Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Part-Time Retail Associate for a nonprofit organization in Greenville, SC. This position will last until mid-December. Pay is $15/hr
Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 8:45am-5:15 and Friday 8:45am-1:15pm
Part-Time Retail Associate Responsibilities
- Perform clerical and administrative tasks to support daily retail operations, including answering phones, correspondence, and data entry
- Maintain accurate records of sales transactions, inventory, and customer accounts
- Assist the Retail Services Manager with monitoring and stocking inventory to ensure adequate product availability for events and seasonal needs
- Utilize computer systems including POS software, inventory management tools, and Microsoft Office applications to manage retail data
- Generate and distribute reports on sales, inventory, and customer activity as directed
- Process customer orders, exchanges, and returns according to established procedures
- Handle payments from memberships, donations, grants, and other income sources, including electronic deposits
Part-Time Retail Associate Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of customer service or retail experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn new software systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
