Amanda Mitchell

Amanda Mitchell, Sr. Human Resources Generalist, joined the VBOA team on June 17, 2024. She advocates for the VBOA team by fostering positive employee relations and ensuring our employees have support from day one and throughout their journey here. Whether it’s facilitating new hire orientation, partnering with managers and employees to improve performance, managing the leave process, or just being there to support our amazing team, she is here to do whatever it takes.

Amanda excels in helping employees and their managers collaborate to foster growth and success for themselves, the company, and our clients. Having worked in both the private and public sectors for global organizations, her twenty years of experience is enriched with diversity, collaboration, and proven success. From various roles in government contracting, a chain of retail hair salons, to a global technology company, the need remains the same. We work tirelessly to cultivate, enrich, and better our employees’ experience while supporting the company’s purpose and hopefully have a little fun in the process.

Amanda has her Bachelor of Business Administration degree, is continuing graduate coursework, and holds a Human Resources certification (SHRM-SCP). Amanda spends her free time with her family. With three small children, life is always hectic and exciting! She enjoys traveling both locally and internationally and making fun memories with her family. Amanda is thrilled to be a part of the VBOA HR Team!
