Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a client in Florence! The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and minor repairs to ensure the smooth operation in an office building and grounds. This role involves inspecting, troubleshooting, and resolving basic issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building and grounds upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections of building systems and report any issues.
• Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Perform basic carpentry tasks such as patching walls, repairing doors, and assembling furniture.
• Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other consumables as needed.
• Assist with preventative maintenance tasks to extend the life of building equipment.
• Ensure common areas, restrooms, and office spaces are in good working order.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from tenants or staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage of tools and supplies.
• Follow all safety procedures and building regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods.
